Bursa Metropolitan Municipality offered history buffs the experience of making rope with plant fibers using prehistoric methods, following the 'Hittite cuneiform and Gordian mosaic construction', which it brought together in the 8500-year-old Arkeopark.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its social and cultural activities without slowing down, continues to make history enthusiasts travel in time. The Archeology Club, which was established within the scope of the Metropolitan Municipality Culture Branch Directorate to raise awareness of archeology and to carry out applied field studies, organizes various workshops in the Archeopark, which has a history of 8500 years. The Archeology Club, which has taught history enthusiasts practically the Hittite cuneiform and Gordion mosaics made in the past months, now offers history lovers the experience of making rope with plant fibers using prehistoric methods. History buffs, who removed the bark of the branches selected from suitable trees without damaging the fibers, separated the fibers into thin strips, boiled them and dried them, then knitted them into a rope.

Metropolitan Municipality Archaeologist Volkan Karaca said that the workshops in the Archeopark will continue throughout the year. Stating that they organize two or three programs a month, Karaca stated that the interest was very good and invited all archeology enthusiasts to the studies.

The young people who participated in the rope making workshop with plant fibers stated that they enjoyed participating in the activities of the Archeology Club and invited all archeology enthusiasts to participate in the activities.
