According to the Comprehensive Evaluation Report published by Eurocontrol on 20 July 2022, Istanbul Airport continues to be at the top of Europe.

According to the report, on 13-19 July 2022, Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 2019 flights per day, an increase of 5% compared to the same period of 1333. In addition, Istanbul Airport was listed as the 8th busiest airport worldwide in the report.

Antalya Airport, on the other hand, rose to the 937th rank among the 10 busiest airports in Europe with an average of 7 flights per day. However, it is among the 40 busiest airports worldwide.

According to the report in question, our country ranked 3526th among the countries with the heaviest traffic in Europe with an average of 6 flights per day.
