ArteExpo Contemporary Granada Artshow, held in Granada, Spain's most important cultural city known for its festivals, met its audience on 1-4 July 2022 with its first edition. Opening of ArteExpo Contemporary Artshow; Presidential Deputy of Cultural History and Democratic Memory Fátima Gómez, first deputy mayor of Maracena Berta Linares, founder of ArteExpo Art Platform and exhibition curator Chaled Res (Aram), project director Pınar Göksu Res, Turkey project manager Günsu Saraçoğlu, international artists, galleries and members of the press.
In the opening speeches of Gomez, Linares and Res; They stated that the dissemination of contemporary art is their main goal. This activity; They also underlined that it is “the most important contemporary art event held in Granada in the last ten years”. They also added that during the four days the exhibition will run, Maracena will become the epicenter of contemporary art.
ArteExpoContemporary Granada International Artshow participating artists were hosted by the mayor of Ogijares, Granada's famous town with its history, on July 4, 2022. The history of the town was told at the ceremony held at the town hall. They emphasized the importance of this international project that brought together artists from different countries on the day 12 saints came and founded this town centuries ago. The signatures of the artists were taken from the history book to give the message "we came too" to commemorate the day. The Mayor presented his badge to Arte Expo Contemporary founder ChaledRes. Some of our artists also gifted sample works of their works to the mayor of Ogijares.
Arte Expo Contemporary Art Platform, which also aims to create a meaningful artistic connection with the cultural and historical past of the selected event areas of contemporary art practices, brought together important artists, galleries, art critics and collectors from many countries of the world at the ArteExpo Granada Artshow, where the works of our Turkish artists attracted great attention. . With the participation of more than 20 artists selected from 100 different countries, from India to America, ArteExpoContemporary Granada Artshow transformed the city of Granada into a center of attraction for culture and art for 4 days.
