The 7 portable pools, which were established in line with the goal of Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer to bring children in the back neighborhoods together with sports, made the children and their families happy. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mustafa Özuslu, who visited the pool in Beydağ, emphasized the importance of equal opportunity and said, “It is very important to provide the same opportunity for the child in Beydağ as the child in the city center has the opportunity to swim.”

In line with the goal of Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer to spread sports throughout the city, the number of portable pools established at three points last year increased to 7 this summer. Children between the ages of 6 and 13 are given swimming training in the pools of Pazaryeri and Kadifekale in Konak, Meriç in Bornova, Yakakent in Çiğli, Leylak in Beydağ, İsmet İnönü in Menemen and Yeni in Kiraz.

“Another Life Is Possible”
