China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 2,5 percent in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year, reaching 56 trillion 264 billion 200 million yuan.
According to the data released today by China's National Bureau of Statistics, the value added of the agriculture, industry and service sectors increased by 5,0 percent, 3,2 percent and 1,8 percent, respectively, in the first six months.
In the second quarter, GDP increased by 0,4 percent to 29 trillion 246 billion 400 million yuan.
