Domestic and foreign tourists will be able to watch the unique beauty of Soğanlı Valley, which is described as the entrance gate of Cappadocia, from the air thanks to the balloon tourism implemented with the support of the Metropolitan Municipality.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç announced that balloon tourism has started in Kayseri, which has become one of Turkey's most important cities in tourism in recent years, and that flights have resumed in Soğanlı skies.
Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Balloon tourism, which started in Kayseri in 2019 as a result of the intense efforts and work of Memduh Büyükkılıç, started to serve again after the pandemic epidemic.
President Büyükkılıç, while adding an important service to the efforts to make Kayseri a tourism city in all aspects, implemented balloon tourism in the Soğanlı region of Yeşilhisar district.
Emphasizing that they have implemented balloon tourism in the Soğanlı Region, where many civilizations live and where many churches and fairy chimneys are located, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that they have added balloon tourism to the city's values such as trade, industry, health, gastronomy and nature.
In his statement on the subject, Büyükkılıç stated that they continue to diversify Kayseri tourism and said, “Our primary goal is to make Kayseri a tourism city in all aspects. We have a city with very important tourism values. Soganli Valley, which is the entrance gate of our Cappadocia, attracting attention with its fairy chimneys, rock-carved churches, monasteries and natural beauties, is now returning to its old days. We visited the Soğanlı region of Yeşilhisar district with our Governor, Mr. Gökmen Çiçek, recently. We immediately took action to make this region the most beautiful actor and destination of tourism from its bar of treasure in its bosom. Balloon tourism has started again at the entrance gate of Cappadocia.
President Büyükkılıç stated that balloon tourism will make serious contributions to Kayseri tourism.
