Ankara Raised Second Place in 'Student Friendly Cities' Research

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş has implemented many projects for students after he took office. Ankara was ranked 2019th in 10 in the "Student Friendly Cities" research conducted by the University Research Laboratory (UNIAR), and rose to the second place in 2022.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality made a big leap in the ranking of student-friendly cities with its “Student-Friendly” applications and became the second.

University Research Laboratory (UNIAR), which conducts research on universities and higher education in Turkey, but suspended its research in 2021 due to the pandemic, announced the results for 2022. Ankara, which ranked 2019th in 10, rose to the second place in the "Student Friendly Cities" ranking according to the research conducted in 2022 due to the practices that made the lives of students easier after ABB President Mansur Yavaş took office.

81 STUDENTS EDUCATION IN 47 CITIES ASKED

In the student-friendly cities research conducted every year with the data obtained from 81 thousand 196 students studying at a total of 47 state and foundation universities in Turkey's 682 provinces, Ankara; While it ranked eighth in 2017, eleventh in 2018 and tenth in 2019, it achieved a significant success by being selected second this year.

A CAPITAL NEAR THE STUDENT FROM WATER DISCOUNT TO TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT

ABB, which facilitates students' lives in many areas, from discounted water bill tariffs for students to temporary student accommodation, from discounted student subscription cards to free laundry facilities, and from free internet to exam fee payments, has risen in the "Student Friendly Cities" ranking as a result of the various opportunities it offers to students.

Eskişehir ranked first, Ankara second, and Antalya third in the university student capitals ranking, with a comprehensive study covering the whole of Turkey and measuring student satisfaction.
