Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor (ABB) Mansur Yavaş stated that the ANKAPARK case has been completed and it has been decided to evacuate the park and transfer it to the municipality.
Yavaş shared the following on his social media account: “The ANKAPARK case, which we have been fighting to take over for more than 2 years, has been concluded. Today, it was decided to evacuate the park and transfer it to our municipality. Right after Eid al-Adha, we will make the necessary determinations and decide on the future of the park together with the people of Ankara.”
The public should not decide what to build the Phoenix Park.
