45th Youth Camp Held at CHP Party School

Organized with the cooperation of CHP Party School and CHP Youth Branches, the 45th Youth Camp was held in the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak between 28 June and 2 July 2022.

Communication and Public Relations, CHP History, CHP Statutes, CHP Program and Social Democracy were covered in the 'Youth Peer Basic Politics Education' given at the camp.

An important part of the lessons in the camps were carried out interactively with the young people after being internalized in station work.

During the training, the participants were divided into groups and they also designed social projects that would produce a solution to a problem around them. In order for young participants to be deemed to have completed the training, they must implement these projects they have designed after the training.

In the “Experience Speaks” section of the Summer Camp, the name that came together with the young people and shared their experiences was the Mayor of Çaycuma Bülent Kantarcı. In addition, Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz and Çaycuma District President also came together with the youth and shared their experiences.

CHP Party School in this training “21. Organized a “Thematic Camp” with the title of “Twenty-first Century Labor Definition and Precariat Class”. The participants landed at the Turkish Hard Coal Institution (TTK) Training Mine in Zonguldak and then met with academician Alphan Telek to conduct conversations and brainstorming on the same subject.

In the remaining time from the lessons, the participants had a productive time and participated in various activities such as orienteering and improvisational theatre.

Young trainers of the CHP Party School in the camp, Ahmet Korkmaz, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Branch for Education, Çağlar Akay and Ferhat Köprülü, Members of the In-Party Education Unit, Deniz Kahraman, the Party School Bolu Coordinator, Ezgi Çakır, Member of the Youth Camps Module Team, and the Party School Digital Media Team. Member Nida Nisan Genç took charge.

In-Party Education Officer Prof. Dr. Aytuğ Aıcı stated that young people between the ages of 12-18 who came from 30 different cities of Turkey, including Ankara, Van, Aksaray, Istanbul, Zonguldak, Antalya, Kütahya, Muğla, Sakarya, Diyarbakır, Çorum and Şanlıurfa, received training.
