Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) temporarily closed the Incirli station for the work it started on the metrobus road and gave an alternative stop name for the passengers going in the direction of Söğütlüçeşme.
The "White Road" work within the scope of the renewal of the metrobus line by IMM started on 27 June. With the application, the asphalt pavement road started to be replaced with special prescription concrete. The study, which aims to prevent disinformation on the road and to reduce the maintenance on the road to the minimum rate for 21 years, was first carried out. CevizliIt was built on the Bağ-Yenibosna line.
In the statement made by the IMM regarding the work, which is expected to be completed in September, “The metrobus line will never be interrupted during this process. With the announcements and the measures taken with all its units, IMM will ensure that the people of Istanbul will not have problems in transportation.
An SMS warning came from Istanbulkart to citizens who will use the metrobus route. Accordingly, it was announced that the station in İncirli would be closed for about two days for the passengers going to Söğütlüçeşme, and an alternative was shown.
In the announcement made by Istanbulkart, it was stated:
“We are making 'White Road Concrete Coating' on the Metrobus road for the safer and more economical Metrobus line with a valuable Istanbulkart. Within the scope of this study, İncirli station Söğütlüçeşme direction will be closed between 17 July 18:00 and 19 July 06:00. To go in the direction of Söğütlüçeşme, you can first go to the Bahçelievler stop, and from there you can take the metrobus going in the direction of Söğütlüçeşme.”
