How to Become a Paramedic

Individuals who graduate from the 2-year First and Emergency Paramedic (ATT) Department of universities are entitled to become a paramedic by fulfilling certain conditions. These conditions can be grouped under the following headings;

  • Not be an obstacle to obtaining a driver's license,
  • Having received a certificate of mental health,
  • To have completed the age of 17 on the date of registration, and not less than 23 years of age,
  • Not shorter than 1.60 cm for women and 1.65 cm for men,
  • To have the physical ability to carry the stretcher with a colleague.

The qualifications sought in paramedics who can work in the ambulance services of Private and Public Hospitals are as follows;
