Shown among the Technology Leaders of the Future, Team Mostra left its mark on the Eurasia R&D, Innovation and Technology summit. Team Mostra, which received the "Domestic Design Award" at the TEKNOFEST 2021 High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races and the "Supporting Young Entrepreneurs Award" at the Entrepreneurs Support Summit, received the "Future Technology Leaders Support Award" at the MMG- Euritech R&D Innovation & Technology Summit.

5 high school students, who came together with the protocol signed by Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, Yıldız Technical University, Yıldız Teknopark and Uyumsoft Information Systems and Technologies Inc., established the "Team Mostra Team" to work in the field of electric vehicles and autonomous technologies in 2020.

Team Mostra Team Captain Mehmet Emin Önder, who gave information about the projects they worked on as high school students, said:

“Mostra literally means exemplary of something, and as a team, we aim to keep the “Mostra” brand always at the top in the world of electric vehicles. Mostra-1 became our electric vehicle optimized in the field of efficiency, which we designed and produced to participate in the TEKNOFEST 2021 High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races. The Mostra-2 will be our second electric vehicle that we are working on to participate in the TEKNOFEST 2022 High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races. Mostranom, on the other hand, will be our autonomous electric vehicle belonging to the Team Mostra University team, which is planned to be produced for the Teknofest 2 Robotaxi-Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Races. As the Team Mostra Team, we are very happy and proud that our success was appreciated by participating in the R&D, Innovation and Technology summit between June 2023st and 1rd.” said.

MMG- Euritech R&D Innovation & Technology Summit was held between 1-3 June 2022 at Gebze Informatics Valley Exhibition Center by the Architectural Engineers Group (MMG). To the summit where the heart of R&D, innovation and technology beats; Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, President of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, Vice President of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. Faruk Yiğit, EPİAŞ General Manager Ahmet Türkoğlu, ASELSAN Chairman and General Manager Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Roketsan General Manager Murat Second, TÜBİTAK SAGE Manager Gürcan Okumuş, including public representatives, private sector employees, academics, young high school students and university students attended. During the event, 5 high school teams and 20 university teams participating in international competitions opened their stands in the exhibition area and exhibited their prototype products.

Provides knowledge, experience and infrastructure

Explaining that they have been supporting high school youth for three years within the scope of the protocol, Yıldız Teknopark Deputy General Manager İsa Turgut İnci said: “Within the scope of the protocol we signed with the cooperation of MEB, YTÜ, Yıldız Teknopark and Uyumsoft, we support the youth in our prototype workshop in order to prepare high school students with techno-intelligence for the future. we give. In addition to our knowledge and experience, we provide all kinds of technical and facility infrastructure. We are very proud that the Team Mostra Team returned with awards by achieving success in the events they participated in, especially TEKNOFEST. We care about our young people's cooperation with the local and national corporate companies of our country within the scope of mentoring in the upcoming period.” said.

Project Technical Advisor and Marmara University Industrial Engineering Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ercan Öztemel talked about the following: “The Talent Development Center project carried out by Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, Yıldız Technical University, Yıldız Technopark and Uyumsoft in order to preserve and sustain the technological intelligence of students during their high school years has begun to bear fruit. Students first succeeded in developing an electric vehicle and raised it to the level of being awarded in the TEKNOFEST competition. Now it's time to add autonomous capability to this vehicle. In this context, work continues. Fresh blood is constantly added to the teams with the new students coming from behind and they continue their way by getting stronger. Each year, 10 students from high schools in Istanbul are selected from among the students nominated by the upper commission established within the scope of the protocol signed between the institutions and they are subjected to a specially designed training program. With practical applications, students go through an intensive study process on technology development. High school students who complete the program continue their studies after they start university life. I congratulate the young people for their success and wish them continued success.” said.
