Students from Konya Met with the Metaverse World

The Science Truck, put into service by Konya Metropolitan Municipality to make students love science, brought students together with the world of the metaverse. In the Science Truck, which brought science to 30 students in the last academic year, students experienced the happiness of the metaverse experience while learning the traffic rules with virtual reality glasses in the game environment. The Science Truck, put into service by Konya Science Center, continues its efforts to increase the interest in science among students from Konya.

The Science Truck, which tours schools across Konya every year in the academic year and brings together the fun side of science with students, brought science to 30 students this year. Children in Science Truck; He both had fun and learned with fun materials such as our body with anatomical models, robotic coding with robots, planets and our universe, Dinosaur T-Rex, vandegraf generator, hyperbolic hole, sterling, decibel meter, Hanoi towers, physics rules, hand-eye-brain coordination.

Science Truck, which closely follows the changing and developing technological developments of today, while continuing to renew itself constantly, brought students together with the world of the metaverse with virtual reality glasses. Virtual reality glasses provided students with a different experience by allowing them to feel themselves in a specially prepared virtual environment. With the game prepared by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the students had the opportunity to learn the traffic rules in the game environment by using virtual reality glasses.

The students, who met the fun side of science and especially liked the virtual reality glasses, thanked the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay.

The Science Truck established by Konya Science Center, Turkey's first TÜBİTAK-supported science center built by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, in order to make students love science; It has reached more than half a million students to date with schools, Quran Courses, summer schools, festivals and various activities.
