The sheet metal cutting ceremony of the Fuel and Supply Ship project, which is planned to be built with the cooperation of DESAN and ÖZATA Shipyard, was held. Sharing about the ceremony, President of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir said, “We continue our efforts to meet the needs of our navy without slowing down. Fuel Ship Features

  • Maximum Travel Speed: 15 Knots
  • Line of Navigation: 500 Nautical Miles
  • It can stay at sea for at least 3 days without logistical support.
  • Fuel supply to 2 ships at the same time
  • Drinking water cistern with a capacity of at least 35 tons.

We can say that the project ships can provide supply in the duty areas of our gunboats. We have 2 supply ships for this mission. In addition to these ships, Alb. Hakkı Burak, Yzb. Ships such as İhsan Tolunay can also be used for this purpose. Supply ships without visiting the port of task forces; fuel, water, food, spare parts, ammunition, medical aid, electricity, etc. It provides to meet their needs while cruising at sea. In this way, task forces can perform their duties for a longer period of time in their duty regions.
