In the final statement published by MUSIAD after the 106th General Administrative Board, attention was drawn to the steps to combat inflation, and it was emphasized that the export-oriented investment, production and employment strategy would continue, and climate and renewable energy studies would gain momentum.

The following items were included in the final declaration of MUSIAD 106th General Administrative Board:

“Our country, which continued its economic growth in the post-pandemic period, continued to display a stable graphic under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Although the global-scale effects of regional conflicts create a temporary crisis environment, we believe that the Turkish economy, which has risen on solid foundations, will survive this process with the least damage.

Turkey maintains its position as a safe trade port with its location on regional and global trade routes. As business people who love their nation, we wholeheartedly believe in the strong potential of our country. For this reason, we aim to maintain our export-oriented investment, production and employment strategy stronger in 2022, which we have declared as the Year of Investment. On the other hand, we believe that investment and production areas should be increased, new industrial lands should be produced all over our country, considering that the capacity utilization rates in the industry are full.

In line with the strategic headings we have mentioned in the MUSIAD Climate Manifesto, which we have announced at the Visionary'19 Summit, which we organized with the slogan "Make a Difference" on 2021 December 21, we will continue to discuss the reflections of the steps taken by our country against climate change with the information meetings, green transformation in the industry and indirectly alternative We will continue to play a leading role in the production and development of energy resources and support the creation of government policies based on MUSIAD values to reduce global food waste by up to 30%.

As we said in the MUSIAD Energy Strategy Document, which we announced at the International Energy Summit held on May 20, 2022; MUSIAD, which set out with the dream of an economically efficient and respected Turkey in the world, aims to reduce the use of traditional energy sources, to expand renewable and clean energy sources, and thus to increase energy efficiency. In this context, we aim to create domestic, efficient and technology-oriented energy production and consumption, to build Turkey's energy industry, and to create an independent, reliable generation road Turkey perspective in energy.

As MUSIAD, we believe that the development of new industrial zones suitable for the developing world commercial ecosystem and suitable for the use of renewable energy sources, the reduction of costs by encouraging energy production with the self-consumption model, and the development of policies in these areas by preventing the loss of income due to sudden exchange rate movements.

Within the scope of our commercial diplomacy activities, we aim to reshape the domestic and international delegation meetings in line with the sectoral needs in order to establish strong cooperation, and in this context, we aim to provide mutual experience sharing in R&D and P&D activities to our business people in Anatolia by working closely with our partners in different parts of the world. . Established in this context, MUSIAD Trade Office will be the biggest supporter of our business people.

Anatolia means labor, abundance, the center of production. We reiterate our demand for the stronger implementation of the national agriculture strategy in the fertile lands of our country, the creation of training areas where future farmers will be trained, and we support agricultural initiatives that will make Anatolia a stronghold of regional production.

Turkey, at the center of regional and global trade, offers strategic opportunities for future generations with logistics investments shaped in line with the 2023 targets. Our country, which is a safe port of trade, strengthens its geostrategic position with its proximity to Europe, Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In this context, we draw attention to the importance of logistics investments and encourage the reshaping of investment and development strategies in regions where exports will gain momentum.”
