The benevolence of the benefactors reaches the table of the needy with the hand of IMM. The Eid-al-Adha Donation Campaign, organized by the IMM Istanbul Foundation for the third time this year, has started. Sacrifices slaughtered in a hygienic environment by paying attention to religious obligations will make thousands of families happy.

The Istanbul Foundation, which is affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), is bringing the benevolent hand of the benefactors to the tables of the needy this year.

The price of the victim's share was determined as 22 TL in the campaign, which was initiated with the aid collection permission of the Governorship of Istanbul (1682-3.600).

Citizens who want to participate in the campaign, which is made through the online application method, can donate through the website istanbulvakfi.istanbul/. The campaign will last until 8:11.00 on Friday, XNUMX July (Arife day). Answers to frequently asked questions about the Sacrifice Donation Campaign can be found on the Istanbul Foundation website.

On the first day of the feast, the sacrifice of donors whose power of attorney is taken will begin. As every year, the victims will be slaughtered under the supervision of veterinarians in a hygienic environment, paying attention to religious obligations. The transactions, which started on the first day of the holiday, will continue until the evening of the third day of the holiday. Cutting operations will be recorded visually in the presence of a notary public.

After the slaughter is completed, the meat, which is rested for 3 days, will be cooked as cubed and canned. This year, additional tripe and head trotter soup will be added to the sacrificial process, which also produced collagen broth last year. The income from the sale of sacrifice skins will be used to support education.

With the donations last year, Istanbul Foundation delivered canned food to 231 families and meat juice (non-additive collagen) to 17 thousand families with children. In the public survey conducted by the IMM Statistics Office last year, it was determined that no meat was allowed in 300 thousand houses in Istanbul.
