A plaque was presented to ESHOT, which ranks high in the 'Greenest Office' research conducted by enVision every year and measures paper savings in offices.

Ayberk Yurtsever, Corporate Communications Manager of enVision, presented the Greenest Office award to the institution that prevented a total of 907 trees from being cut down due to the paper savings achieved thanks to the Electronic Document Management System, to Erhan Bey, the General Manager of ESHOT.

The Greenest Office Research, which is carried out every year by enVision and reveals the paper savings achieved thanks to the electronic document management system, was announced this year before the World Environment Day.

ESHOT General Directorate, which has always come to the fore with its environment-friendly missions, accelerated its business processes after switching to the Electronic Document Management System and achieved a significant saving in paper consumption. The Greenest Office research revealed the contributions of the institution to the environment with statistics.

ESHOT prevented hundreds of trees from being cut down

ESHOT General Directorate, which started to use Electronic Document Management System as of January 2, 2018, made a similar contribution to environmental protection. ESHOT's environmental impact assessment report included the following figures since the beginning of the project: Due to the paper savings in ESHOT, the number of trees saved was 907. While 4,5 million liters of water was saved, 256 tons of carbon dioxide emission was prevented, and the formation of approximately 18 tons of solid waste was prevented. Thanks to this system, ESHOT also prevented 7,5 million papers from being thrown away.

Speaking at the plaque ceremony, ESHOT General Manager Erhan Bey stated that after they started using Electronic Document Management System within the organization, they achieved significant time and cost savings by optimizing their business processes. General Manager Mr. Erhan also noted that with EBYS, business processes carried out with documents became automated, decision-making processes were accelerated, transaction queues and completion times were shortened, human errors were eliminated, and internal communication channels became better.
