Çukurova Regional Airport will be completed towards the end of the year

Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan visited the Çukurova Regional Airport Construction site and received information about the works.

During the investigations, Governor Pehlivan was accompanied by Deputy Governor Alp Eren Yılmaz, Tarsus District Governor Kadir Sertel Otcu, district protocol members and contractor company officials.

In the study tour carried out regarding the construction sites of Çukurova Regional Airport; Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan first received a briefing from the contractor company officials.

Governor Pehlivan stated that when Çukurova Regional Airport is put into service, it will add value to our city and the region in many ways. Examining the works on site, Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan noted that the airport, whose construction works have reached 70 percent, will be completed towards the end of the year, and announced that the airport will enter the service of our citizens with the opening to be made by our President.

Governor Pehlivan then made investigations on the airport connection roads, where intensive work continues. Governor Pehlivan also received a briefing on the subject from the 5th Regional Director of Highways, Mehmet Fidan.
