STM, one of Turkey's leading companies in the production of tactical mini UAVs, successfully completed the acceptance tests of the Rotary Wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) BOYGA Carrying Mortar Ammunition. BOYGA, which left all test stages behind, entered the inventory of the security forces.
President of the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir announced BOYGA's entry into the inventory on his social media account. Demir said, “We have added another capability to the inventory that will give Mehmetçi a great advantage in the field. kazanwe nagged. BOYGA, the latest member of STM's tactical mini UAV product family, drops the customized 81 mm mortar ammunition it carries on the target precisely thanks to its improved ballistic estimation algorithm. BOYGA, which can be used effectively in counter-terrorism and asymmetric warfare environments, has a 30-minute airtime with mortar ammunition. The BOYGA platform, which can reach a flight altitude of 1.500 meters, can be carried by a single private with a weight of 5 kg, in addition to serving at a range of 15 kilometers.
