The Turkish World Children's Festival, organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, turned into a blend of cultures with the participation of Azeri, Uyghur, Kyrgyz, Gagauz and Turkmen children from different geographies.

Since Bursa is the Cultural Capital of the Turkish World, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which has carried out different activities in line with this theme, has now brought Turkish children from different geographies together at the Turkish World Children's Festival. While the people of Bursa showed great interest in the event in the Botanic Park, there was a festive atmosphere in the area. While the enthusiasm reached its peak with the concert of the Metropolitan Municipality Band, the musical theater of the cartoon character Emiray was watched with interest, especially by the children. Later, the wind of the Turkish world blew on the stage. Azeri, Uyghur, Kyrgyz, Gagauz and Turkmen children, who took the stage in their local clothes, received great acclaim with their songs and poems as well as their folklore performances. The little ones from Bursa, who came to watch the event, had a pleasant day with activities such as face painting, painting, arrow shooting, live foosball and sack race. In the area where the plateaus of the cartoons that the children enjoyed watching were also set up, the children had plenty of photos taken on these plateaus.

Children, who watched the science show of the Science and Technology Center with curious eyes, also followed the musical theaters of Elif's Dreams and Keloğlan with interest. The event was completed with the Mehter Concert and Kılıç Kalkan show.

Azeri, Uyghur, Kyrgyz, Gagauz and Turkmen children, who added color to the event with their dances and songs, took the stage together at the end of the event and greeted the people of Bursa. Meanwhile, Türksoy Representative Dr. Cavid Mövsümlü presented a plaque to Ulaş Akhan, Secretary General of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, and a certificate of appreciation to Ahmet Bayhan, Head of Press, Broadcasting and Public Relations Department, for holding such an important event. Mövsümlü also presented a plaque of appreciation to the coordinators of the guest countries for their contribution to the event.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Ulaş Akhan stated that due to the fact that Bursa is the Cultural Capital of the Turkish World, such activities will continue until the end of the year, reminding that it is very important for the activities to be met by the people of Bursa, and thanked all the citizens and children of the guest countries who filled the area at the children's festival.

Expressing that these events are of great importance for the unity of the Turkish world, Türksoy Representative Dr. Cavid Mövsümlü thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for the magnificent event with great participation.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Press and Public Relations Department Head Ahmet Bayhan also stated that the intense participation was pleasing and said, “We aimed for the people of Bursa to have a good week with their children and for our children from the guest countries to get to know Bursa. Thank you to everyone who participated.”
