Regarding the kindergarten, which was built as an environment-friendly kindergarten with the feature of a green building, Yavaş said, “We have brought another center to Ankara where our special children will find peace and where families can safely entrust their children and breathe comfortably.”

Giving good news to the families about the barrier-free nursery, which was built on an area of ​​5 square meters in order to bring disabled children living in the capital to social life and to play games like their peers, Yavaş said, “Ankara is another center where our special children will find peace, where families can safely entrust their children and breathe comfortably. we have given. Underlining that the exemplary green building project, which produces 20 percent of the electricity it needs thanks to solar panels, is a nursery that stands out in Turkey and Europe, PORTAŞ AŞ Deputy General Manager Okan Evliyaoğlu shared the following information about the environmentally friendly nursery:

“We started the construction of the barrier-free nursery project in May 2021. The nursery, which was built as a closed area of ​​approximately 5 thousand 606 square meters on a land of 3 thousand 150 square meters, is getting ready for opening. Our facility has many technical features. It will be a prominent nursery across Turkey and Europe. Our nursery, which is a candidate for the green building gold certificate, will keep water consumption to a minimum. Rainwater will be collected and used in landscape irrigation. It will produce 20 percent of the electricity it needs, thanks to solar panels. Our nursery will provide 30% less energy consumption than the average electrical energy consumed in the world, and 55% less energy consumption than the average electrical energy consumed in Turkey. Thanks to the water tank with a capacity of 69 cubic meters, our facility will meet 85% of the water needed for landscape irrigation from rain water. In addition, we used plants that need minimum water in the landscape area. We wish the project to be beneficial, considering that it will host the beautiful and happy moments of all the people of Ankara and our children.”
