The Transportation Coordination Center has removed the one-way application on a part of Mithatpaşa Street. As of tomorrow (Wednesday, June 15, 2022), the street will be switched to two-way traffic as before.
At the request of the Provincial Police Department, UKOME made a one-way decision for a part of Mithatpaşa Street on 20 May 2022. The section between 16th Street Junction (Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center street entrance) and 99/1 Street Junction (Küçükyalı Junction / in front of Hakimiyet-i Milliye Primary School), popularly known as "Warehouse Junction", has been implemented as "one way towards Konak". However, upon the request from the citizens, this time the Provincial Police Department applied to the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) to return to the old traffic flow. UKOME approved the opening of the street to two-way traffic. In this part of Mithatpaşa Street, two-way application will be valid as of 15 on Wednesday, 2022 June 07.00.
