Accepted by everyone who listens to him that he is one of the strongest voices Turkey has produced, Erim Duzgun continues with the same energy and performance in the stages he appeared in 1968 when he was too young to be called a child.
Erim, who has been making a program with the late pianist Mahmut Arsev in the old Bergama Restaurant in İzmir for many years, later crosses with pianist İlhan Saygın at the Maksim Casino, operated by Atalay Noyaner, and as Erim İlhan duo in the 60s, 70s, They interpret the nostalgic songs of the 80s together. Instead of being one of the great vocalists of Turkey with their strong voice, Erim and İlhan duo, who prefer to stay in Izmir in order not to disturb their regular family life, continue to meet with their fans. The duo, who take the stage especially at nights organized by non-governmental organizations, also regularly make programs at Çeşme Pırıl Hotel and Passport Mekan-ı Istanbul.
Erim says, “The longing for the past increases in every person after a certain age,” and he specifically states that he was more happy with the music of the period he lived in, but that he also found some new generation songs of good quality and included them in his repertoire.
The duo, who successfully continue their commercial business along with music, proves that they are a giant two-man orchestra on the stage under the name of "Group Duo Band" in every program they make and they wish to be together with their audience for many more years.
