The contribution of vocational high schools to domestic and national production is increasing. The Ministry of National Education continues to increase its production capacity within the scope of revolving funds, which makes a significant contribution to increasing the practical skills of students in vocational education.

Expressing that vocational education is taking firm steps towards becoming the hope of Turkey again with the paradigm shift, the projects developed and the investments made, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that the transformation is also directly reflected in the production.

Innovative studies are now carried out with the R&D centers established in vocational education; Stating that patent, brand, utility model and design registrations were obtained, Özer said, “Our vocational high schools have increased their income from production in the first 2022 months of 5 by 2021 percent compared to the same period of 231, reaching approximately 560 million liras. These products are products with added value… Our vocational high schools add a breath of fresh air to our domestic and national production. Now, these schools also export abroad. The point reached is really very pleasing…”

The highest income comes from Ankara, Istanbul and Gaziantep.

Stating that the first 2022 provinces with the highest income from production in the first 5 months of 3 are Ankara, Istanbul and Gaziantep, respectively, Özer said, “In this period, our vocational and technical education schools are 54 million 230 thousand in Ankara, 48 million 552 thousand in Istanbul and Gaziantep. Production in these schools was carried out in the fields of information technologies, electrical and electronic technology, metal technology, chemical technology, machine technology, furniture and interior design, food and beverage services. Food and beverage services, furniture and interior design, accommodation and travel services, chemical technology and information technologies were the areas that generated the highest revenue from production throughout Turkey in the first 2022 months of 5. Expressing that they will continue to strengthen vocational education as the Ministry, Özer thanked his colleagues and provincial national education directors who contributed to the process.
