The Gendarmerie teams, who worked hard to clean the district after the flood disaster on August 11 last year, are taking part in the removal of slime from the buildings this year.

Gendarmerie teams from different provinces of Turkey are working hard to heal the wounds in the Bozkurt district of Kastamonu, which was affected by the flood disaster.

Bozkurt district center and İliş village were damaged in the flood that occurred yesterday after heavy rain. The entrances and basements of many homes and businesses were covered with water and mud.

The teams affiliated to Kastamonu Provincial Gendarmerie Command and Kastamonu Gendarmerie Commando Training Center Command started cleaning works in the region, as in the flood on 11 August last year.

Gendarmerie teams, who worked hard to clean the district after the flood disaster last year, are cleaning the village of İliş, which was under the mud this year, by working with digging shovels.

Gendarmerie teams remove the slime and water under the houses, then wash the buildings and deliver them to their owners in a clean way. The teams take some of the items left on the lower floors on their backs and take them out.

Mehmet Turbaş, one of the residents of İliş village, pointed out that they experienced a great flood and said, “Water got under the houses. The gendarmes came, they drained the water, now they are clearing the mud. God bless you all, thank you very much.” said.
