Details of 3600 Additional Indicators Announced

President Erdoğan: We have decided to increase the additional indicators of all our civil servants by 600 points, by making a sacrifice in favor of public employees at the expense of enforcing our conditions.

After the Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Complex, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that all 5,3 million public servants will benefit from the additional indicator regulation starting next year.

Noting that the civil servants have completed the work on the regulation of additional indicators and brought it to the stage where it will be submitted to the discretion of the Assembly, President Erdoğan reminded that they promised to increase their additional indicators to 3 when this issue was first brought to the agenda.

However, President Erdoğan stated that they saw that an additional indicator increase only for these segments would lead to injustice among civil servants and disrupt the hierarchical balance, and gave the following information:

“For this, we have decided to raise the additional indicators of all our civil servants by 600 points, making a sacrifice in favor of public employees at the expense of enforcing our terms. All of our 5,3 million public officials in our country, including those in the auxiliary services class, will benefit from this regulation as of next year. With the implementation of the regulation, the right holders in all the occupational groups we promised will be immediately increased to 3 additional indicators, provided that they have reached the first degree. In addition, the additional indicators of deputy general managers will be increased from 600 to 3, and the additional indicators of managers at the level of branch managers and district managers will be increased from 600 to 4 thousand.

The additional indicator regulation not only provides a small increase in the current salaries of our civil servants, but also brings serious gains in actual retirement bonuses and pensions. To give a concrete example, the pension of a civil servant with 3600 years of service with an additional indicator of 30 will increase between 1234 liras and 1391 liras, and his retirement bonus will increase between 44 thousand 500 liras and 50 thousand 150 liras.”
