Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu announced that the entire Denizli Ring Road, including the Honaz Tunnel, will be completed this year, before winter. Karaismailoğlu said, “We have invested over 20 billion 10 million liras for Denizli's transportation and communication services in 865 years.”
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu made statements after the examination at the Denizli Ring Road Construction Site. Karaismailoğlu stated that as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, they have been working tirelessly for 20 years to bring each point of Turkey closer to each other with projects that have the characteristics of reform in land, air, sea and railways. In line with our vision to be among the top 10 economies of the world, we continue our bold and determined steps uninterruptedly. The new trade routes oriented north-south and east-west, located in the center of our country, give us the opportunity to play a role as a playmaker. It is only a matter of time before we become a logistics superpower in our region and dominate world trade with our geography at the heart of the New Silk Road. For this, we have to constantly develop projects and invest. Thus, we will be ready for the commercial opportunities that will come our way.”
WE INVESTED OVER 10.8 BILLION LIRA FOR DENIZLI'S TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION
Karaismailoğlu stated that they are working day and night to complete the transportation and communication moves that will support the big goals in the field of economy, and continued his speech as follows;
“Our nation has seen very well that projects are not completed on time, with vicious minds who cannot produce alternative capital models other than equity, with an understanding that has not been completed for years and transferred from hand to hand. We, on the other hand, finalize our projects quickly so that our nation does not wait for years, so that its province, district and village can develop. In addition to our significant investments throughout the country, we have also undertaken important transportation services that contribute to Denizli's production, trade and tourism. In 20 years, we have invested over 10 billion 865 million liras for Denizli's transportation and communication services. We have increased the divided road length of Denizli 6,5 times, reaching 436 kilometers. We connected Denizli to Aydın, Afyonkarahisar, Burdur, Burdur, Muğla, Manisa and Uşak via divided roads. We also increased the length of the hot bituminous paved road in the province from 18 kilometers to 322 kilometers. The total project cost of the 12 highway investments still in progress in Denizli reaches 8 billion 363 million liras.”
OUR WORK CONTINUES INTENSIVELY ON SECTION 2 OF OUR RING ROAD
Reminding that the 32-kilometer 18st section of the Denizli Ring Road, which has a total length of 1 kilometers, was put into service with the divided road standard, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, “Our work on the 2nd section of our Ring Road continues intensively. In project scope; double tube, 2 meters long Honaz Tunnel is at binder level, the section is at the level of abrasion, except for the Ovacık Junction area, which is the 640 kilometer section on the entrance connection road, and the section is at the binder level divided road standard, except for the Cankurtaran Junction Area, which is the 6,5-kilometer section on the exit connection road. we have completed. We have finished the excavation and support works in the Honaz Tunnel. of the tunnel; Project design and installation works for electrical, electromechanical and other control systems continue. Within the scope of the studies; In the section where Ovacık Junction is located, the energy transmission lines will be built by the contractor company, and the underpass at the intersection will be completed as soon as possible. We came across cultural assets in the area where Çankurtaran Junction will be built. We prepared revised projects in the mentioned area without wasting time. We will complete the new productions and open them as soon as possible. The realization rate of the project exceeded 3 percent. Our work continues here, too," he said.
Karaismailoğlu, who also gave good news to the people of Denizli, said, “This year in the project work; We will build 7,7 kilometers of hot bituminous pavement divided road, and 6 kilometers of surface-coated bituminous hot pavement roads. We will complete the interchange with 2 bridges and 1 culvert type interchange. Our biggest goal is to complete the ongoing highway projects in Denizli as soon as possible and bring them into the lives of our citizens. We aim to complete the entire Aydın-Denizli Highway in 2023, and we will complete the entire ring road, including the Honaz Tunnel, within this year, before winter.”
