Within the scope of the PERGEL project created by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for female employees, the “Children's Physical Speech Rights Dissemination Program” was carried out in cooperation with the Association for Combating Sexual Violence. The training for the Metropolitan Municipality personnel working in the relevant fields lasted for five days.
Within the scope of the Personnel Development (PERGEL) project developed by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for female employees, the “Children's Physical Speech Rights Dissemination Program” was organized in cooperation with the Association for Combating Sexual Violence. The event, which was also visited by the Deputy Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Mustafa Özuslu, was held on 23-27 May at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Cultural Center. PERGEL member psychologists, psychological counselors (PDR), sociologists, staff working in social work, child development, child rights and similar fields participated in the program. By adopting the principle of the best interests of the child in relations with children, it was aimed to strengthen empowering, inclusive, rights-based pedagogical perspectives for reinforcing positive behaviors and changing negative behaviors.
