By the Ministry of National Education (MEB), within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS), the central exam for 8th grade students has started. The first session of the exam, which will be held in two sessions, started at 09.30:10.45 in Turkey. The first session will end at 11.30:12.50. The second session will start at XNUMX and end at XNUMX.

The central exam is held in 973 domestic and 7 international exam centers in two sessions, in 17 thousand 899 schools and 82 thousand 551 halls.

No change in the administration of the exam

The exam has been administered in the same format since 2018. In the exam, which will be held in two sessions, 90 multiple choice questions will be asked. In the first session, students will be asked 50 questions in total from Turkish, Turkish Republic Revolution History and Kemalism, religious culture and ethics, and foreign language courses, and they will be given a 75-minute response time.

Students will be able to go out to the schoolyards and meet their needs during the 45-minute period between the two exam sessions.

In the second session, in which a total of 40 questions from mathematics and science will be asked, students will be given 80 minutes. The number of correct and incorrect answers will be determined for each subtest in the verbal and numerical sections. Each student's raw score for each subtest will be calculated by subtracting one-third of the number of incorrect answers from the number of correct answers for the relevant test.
