The region will breathe

While afforestation, ground arrangement and facility constructions continue in the region; Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that they are making great efforts to make Bursa, which has moved away from its green identity due to rapid industrialization, migration and uncontrolled construction, to become a city known for green again. Expressing that they attach great importance to environmental investments in 17 districts from the east to the west of the city, Mayor Aktaş said, “We are making an effort to bring qualified landscaped green areas to our Bursa. Our Vakıf City Park is a good example of this. In cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, we bring the Gökdere People's Garden, which has been talked about for years, but which has not been taken concrete steps, to our Bursa. When Gökdere National Garden is completed, it will add great value to Osmangazi and Yıldırım districts where construction is intense.
