In the statement made by Baykar Technology regarding the facility visit of Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Defense Vilius Semeska, it was seen that the production development model of Bayraktar KIZILELMA's first prototype was painted. While there is a Turkish flag on the tail, the platform with the tail number "01" is a full-size scale model of KIZILELMA, expressed as a mock-up.

In March 2022, Baykar Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar stated that the name of MİUS was Bayraktar KIZILELMA, “After 3 and a half years, a larger and more agile fish entered the production line. In the statement made by Baykar Teknoloji, “The production development model of the first prototype of our Combat Unmanned Aircraft System (MİUS) has entered the integration line. The name of our unmanned warplane project was Bayraktar KIZILELMA.” statements were made.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA will operate at a cruising speed close to the speed of sound. In the next process, it will be supersonic by going above the speed of sound. Bayraktar KIZILELMA will have an ammunition and payload capacity of close to 1.5 tons. It will be able to carry Air-Air, Air-Ground smart missiles and cruise missiles. The radar will be able to carry its ammunition inside the hull so that it has a low-visible design. In missions where radar invisibility is not at the forefront, they can also have their ammunition under the wing. Bayraktar KIZILELMA will be able to land on the ship with the help of catch cables and hooks. The element that distinguishes the aircraft design from other unmanned warplanes in the world is its vertical tails and front canard horizontal control surfaces. Thanks to these control surfaces, it will have aggressive maneuverability.

An agreement was signed with Ukraine for the engine.

On the second day of the defense, aerospace and space fair SAHA EXPO 2021, Baykar Defense and Ukrainian Ivchenko-Progress Combatant Unmanned Aircraft System (MİUS) signed a contract for Bayraktar KIZILELMA. The contract signed for MİUS Project covers AI-322F Turbofan Engine Supply and AI-25TLT Turbofan Engine Integration.

Referring to Akıncı TİHA's Ivchenko Progress AI-450 engine, Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar said; “Our Strategic Akıncı Unmanned Aerial Vehicle was powered by Ivchenko Progress' AI-450 engine. We produce Akıncı serially. Next is the unmanned warplane. With the contract, we will install the AI-322F engine, produced jointly by Ivchenko Progress and Motor Sich, on our unmanned fighter aircraft. I hope that this signature will further the strategic cooperation between the two countries and will strengthen the two countries.” had statements.

AI-322F Turbofan Engine; It is the afterburner version of the AI-322 turbofan engine. AI-322F; It can produce a maximum thrust of 2500 kgf without afterburner, 4500 kgf with afterburners and can operate up to Mach 1.6. The engine has a fan diameter of 624 millimeters and a mass of 560 kg. AI-322F can be used on L-15 trainer and light attack aircraft.
