Lifelong Learning Week Starts Tomorrow

The Lifelong Learning Week, which will be celebrated for the second time this year with the aim of developing, promoting and disseminating a culture of lifelong learning, starts on 1 June. The opening of the Lifelong Learning Week will be held at the Turkish History Museum and Park in Ankara with the participation of Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer.

In the first 2022 months of 5, 73 million 241 thousand 355 trainees participated in 5 courses in 224 fields opened free of charge in lifelong learning institutions. The first week of June is celebrated as "Lifelong Learning Week" in order to develop and spread the culture of participation in learning activities outside of formal education, by prioritizing individual and social development and employment. Within the scope of Lifelong Learning Week, the second of which will be celebrated on 297-01 June this year, many activities will be held throughout Turkey.

There will be a celebration program in all schools with 998 public education centers and 24 maturation institutes, which are lifelong learning institutions, under the coordination of provincial and district national education directorates.

The opening of the Lifelong Learning Week will be held on Wednesday, June 1, at the Turkish History Museum and Park in Ankara with the participation of Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer.
