TAI has placed an order for 1 Cessna Citation Longitude and 2 Citiation Latitude private jets from US-based Textron. It is reported that the jets ordered by the OEM will be used in flight control. Textron Aviation, the aviation arm of Textron, announced the order via its Twitter account.
Textron Aviation Deputy Head of Special Sales, Bob Gibbs, said about the sale, “Textron Aviation is once again proud to be the supplier of aircraft to be used for this critical mission involving the harmony of Turkey's airlines. While inheriting the Longitude and Latitude Cessna Citiation series, it also gives the user additional capabilities.” made statements.
Flight inspection includes the periodic evaluation of aviation aids, such as flight procedures and electronic signals, to ensure they are safe and accurate. The 3 jets ordered will be equipped with flight control calibration equipment for this purpose. General Directorate of State Airports Authority used 1993 Citiation Vs models from 2009 to 2 and replaced the Vs model with the XLS model in 2009.
