Organized by the Directorate of Communications in Istanbul, the “Turkey-Africa Media Summit” started.

Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun made the opening speech of the Summit, which will last for two days in Istanbul Bakırköy.

45 press members from 80 African countries, as well as African diplomats, executives of public institutions, media representatives, academics, representatives from the private sector and non-governmental organizations, participated in the event, which aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination between Turkish and African media members, share experiences and develop a partnership perspective. agrees.

In the program where Turkish and African journalists will also discuss the African perspective of the global media, evaluations on the international order will be shared.

The summit will be concluded with special sessions after the presentations of representatives of Turkish companies investing in Africa and institutions and organizations that contribute to the human capital of the continent.

The said program is expected to increase awareness of Turkey in the African media and to strengthen Turkey's cooperation with African countries in the field of media and communication.
