Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the International Transport Forum (ITF) held in Germany between 18-19 May. On the first day of the forum, which was organized with the theme of "Transport for inclusive societies", Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu held bilateral meetings.

DETECTING WEAK LINKS IS VERY IMPORTANT

Speaking at the Round Table Meeting on the Future of Supply Chains, Karaismailoğlu emphasized that they have developed policies and strategies that cover all segments of society and that provide innovative, sustainable, smart and integrated mobility. Transferring the policies, strategies and services of the Ministry, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu continued as follows;

“The processes we have been through in recent years have shown us that identifying weak links in the chain is as important as ensuring efficiency in the supply chain. To make supply chains more resilient, inclusive and diverse, we need to intensify global cooperation and ensure interoperability. We must resolutely promote digitalization, greener and greener logistics against the climate crisis. Of course, for all these, an uninterrupted physical transportation infrastructure must be provided. With the investment of approximately 20 billion dollars in transportation and communication infrastructure in the last 172 years, we have taken important steps towards providing a fast and uninterrupted transportation link between Asia and Europe.”
