Traffic education starts from the ground up

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that they brought in an investment that seems small but is of great importance for the future of traffic in Bursa. Expressing that traffic is the most talked about subject in Bursa, whose population is increasing by 40-50 thousand every year and the number of vehicles is constantly increasing accordingly, Mayor Aktaş said, “I think that whatever investment is made in Bursa is less than traffic. In this sense, in my opinion, we have made a good investment for our future. This is a project of our Ministry of Interior. There is also a support of 1,5 million TL from the Spor Toto Organization. Together with the vehicle, equipment and green area arrangements, it cost 4 million 227 thousand liras. We completed the project and handed it over to our Provincial Police Department. Here, our children are being educated under the supervision of our police friends. We want our children, who are our future, to be individuals who know the rules and regulations well and show the necessary sensitivity, whether as a pedestrian, a vehicle driver or a public transport user. It is a good investment in Bursa's traffic, Bursa's transportation," he said.

All schools will

Bursa Governor Yakup Canbolat said, “We have brought a beautiful children's traffic education park to our Bursa. We will use this park to raise awareness of all our children and to educate them about traffic. It is in the center of Bursa, in a location where our children can easily reach and where all our schools can be easily reached. Our Provincial Directorate of National Education and Provincial Police Department will cooperate and operate this place together. We will bring all our children here within the framework of the programs we will do. We will bring all private and public schools. We will carry out awareness-raising activities of traffic education, which our children should pay attention to as pedestrians and drivers. We think that the education given as a child is important. Because they; tomorrow adults will be prominent people in society. If we give this education to our children, I hope traffic accidents will decrease in the society. We think that citizenship awareness develops at the point of complying with other safety measures and rules. May it be good for our Bursa and our children.”
