With the support of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, the 'Traditional Turkish Arts Exhibition', which features the works of artisan teachers of Uludağ University Fine Arts Faculty and artists from the Turkish World, was opened to visitors at the Tayyare Cultural Center.

The 'Traditional Turkish Arts Exhibition', which was prepared by Bursa Uludağ University Fine Arts Faculty with the contributions of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, was opened with a ceremony within the scope of 2022 Turkish World Capital of Culture events. The exhibition, which includes the works of artisans from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, with the teachers of the Traditional Turkish Arts Department; It consists of works of art such as calligraphy, illumination, miniature, marbling, felt, wood carving, carpet, suzani and weaving. The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Süleyman Çelik, as well as the Rector of Bursa Uludağ University Prof. Dr. A.Saim Guide, Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Department teachers and artists from the Turkish World participated.

Saying that organizing such events in 2022 Turkish World Culture Capital Bursa is very meaningful, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Süleyman Çelik congratulated those who contributed to the exhibition.

Bursa Uludag University Rector Prof. Dr. A.Saim Guide thanked the artists who contributed to the exhibition with their valuable works.

The exhibition can be visited at Painter Şefik Bursalı Art Gallery between 11-15 May.
