Organized by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) with the contributions of FIAT, the social responsibility project 'TOSFED Searching for its Star' is being held for the 4th time this year. The 28st group qualifying of the project, which aims to bring licensed young people aged 1 and under, to motor sports, will be held on 241-11-12 May 13 at TOSFED Körfez Racetrack with 2022 participants. 20 male and 5 female participants to be determined after the first eliminations will qualify for the final eliminations.
In the second eliminations to be held on 30-31 August and 01-02 September, where all participants compete against time with Fiat Egea racing cars, 25 people will be determined and a total of 40 male and 10 female candidates will participate in the two-day final eliminations on 29-30 September. At the end of the trainings and final qualifications, the fastest 10 male and 4 female drivers will have the opportunity to compete with Fiat Egea racing cars in the 3-race 2022 Looking for TOSFED Star series without paying any price. At the end of these 3 races, the stars of 2022 will be determined for men and women.
In his statement, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı said, “This year, we continue our TOSFED Looking for Star project, where we introduced more than 3 young drivers to automobile sports in the first 1200 years, with the aim of discovering new talents and bringing them into our sport. We invite all our self-confident young people to this project in this period of increasing interest in motor sports.” said.
The registration for the second group qualifiers for 'TOSFED Searching for its Star' will end on August 02, 2022. License and registration procedures for the project can be done online through the website.
