Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is hosting the 21th International Love, Peace and Tolerance Watercolor Festival through Art and the Golden Brush Competition between 24-7 May.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is hosting the 7th International Love, Peace and Tolerance Watercolor Festival through Art and the Golden Brush Competition. The festival, which will be held at Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM) between 21-24 May in cooperation with the International Watercolor Association, will include live performances by artists as well as panels and interviews. Watercolor artists from 4 different countries will participate in the 42-day festival.

Within the scope of the festival, the works that won awards in the watercolor painting competition with the theme "İzmir" will be exhibited at the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center for 4 days. Printed paintings by Ukrainian artists, who were unable to attend the festival due to the war, will also take their place in the exhibition.

Clock Tower will be colored on May 24

On May 24, around the Clock Tower, 70-meter pictures of Izmir will be painted with guest artists, accompanied by a ceremony. Children and young people will also paint the Izmir Clock Tower with the slogan "Draw for Peace," and the three children who paint the most beautiful Clock Tower will be rewarded.
