Algae Cleaning on Samsun's Beaches and Beaches

Continuing its work without slowing down in order to highlight Samsun's coastal city identity and ensure that it gets its deserved share from summer tourism, the Metropolitan Municipality intensified its efforts to prevent the pollution caused by the increase in air temperature.

With the works carried out by the teams of the Zero Waste Management and Cleaning Affairs Branch Directorate, the bad images that occur especially in the public beaches during the winter months are eliminated, and the deteriorations due to the lack of sand are also repaired by the teams. Within the scope of the works, algae cleaning was carried out on the Gulf Marina, Adnan Menderes Beach, Dereköy and Geyikkoşan beaches.

Saying, “We are working hard for our compatriots to benefit from the sea shores better,” Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “Blue Bayraklı While we strengthen the tourism potential of our beautiful Samsun by increasing the number of our beaches, we continue our efforts to ensure that our entire coastline is clean.
