Saying that the brand changed its shell with the Plan S strategy announced in 2020 and the corporate transformation story announced in 2021, Can Ağyel said, “It was announced that Kia would develop 2027 electric models by 14. The EV6 and the New Niro EV are two new models developed in line with this strategy. With Kia's global transformation journey that started in 2021, we went through a series of changes from the brand's logo to its slogan. As of the last quarter of last year, our vehicles with new logos started to appear on the roads of Turkey. The process of renewing and restructuring our dealers has begun. “We will put 12 models on sale this year”
Stating that they will continue to expand their product range with new models in 2022, Can Ağyel said, “The issues related to supply, production and exchange rate have affected the entire industry. We lived in a period when the supply-demand balance deteriorated against production. Despite this, we consistently maintain our sustainable business model. In 2022, we will put a total of 12 models on sale in the Turkish market. We aim to increase our market share to over 3 percent with our Picanto, Rio and Stonic models, which we position as the “Strong Trio”, the fifth generation of Kia's flagship Sportage model, and Sorento, one of the first models that come to mind when it comes to SUVs.

Stating that they consolidated their assertive position with the fifth generation Sportage, Ağyel said, “The demand for SUV models is increasing every year. In 2021, the share of SUV models in total automobile sales reached 34 percent. We are assertive again with Stonic, XCeed, New Sportage and New Sorento. Kia EV6 in Turkey in June
At the event, it was announced that the Kia EV2022 model, which won the "6 Car of the Year" award in Europe, will be put on sale in Turkey in June with the GT-Line 4×4 version. Kia EV6 can reach a driving range of up to 506 kilometers on a single charge, according to WLTP data. In addition, the advanced 800V charging technology used in Europe allows the driver to charge from 18 percent to 10 percent in just 80 minutes.
