“Our main aim here is; to increase these examples in every field that requires science and technology and to make our country a producer of critical technologies, not a market. We do not have the slightest doubt that we will do this under the leadership of TEKNOFEST youth. As you know, middle school, high school and university students can participate in technology competitions held at TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, with their own projects. Many of our young people from Sakarya have also achieved significant success in these competitions. kazanthey are working. They race self-developed rockets, electric cars, unmanned aerial vehicles and submarines.
They don't just acquire technical skills in these competitions. They learn to dream, team spirit, and determination to struggle. We accompany them in this marathon. We provide all the necessary financial and technical support for them to design their projects and then implement them. Thus, while developing the qualified human resources that our country needs, on the other hand, we are creating a dynamic ecosystem in which young people are the leading roles.”
Minister Varank pointed out that the TEKNOFEST event grew like an avalanche and took on an international format and said, “I would like to proudly state that we are starting TEKNOFEST tomorrow from Azerbaijan. Thus, we will have taken the first step of our organization towards becoming a global brand. We will increase the interest of Azerbaijani youth in technology just like Turkish youth, and hopefully we will discover new technology geniuses together. Hopefully, we will carry this excitement to the Black Sea in September and organize TEKNOFEST in Samsun. I want to see many more teams there. I hope that our young people from Sakarya will also come first in those competitions.” used the phrases.
