Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer“Kemeraltı Days” are organized in line with the goal of raising Kemeraltı. A series of events will be held at the festival on May 26-27, from workshops to concerts, from award-winning competitions to tastings.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its studies on Izmir Historical Harbor City, in which Kemeraltı is in the center, the preparations for the UNESCO World Heritage List candidacy process continue. In this direction, Aegean Young Businessmen Association (EGİAD), Kemeraltı Tradesmen and Craftsmen Association and TARKEM organize "Kemeraltı Days" on May 26-27 to promote Kemeraltı culture and improve trade volume. The historical bazaar will be the scene of colorful scenes for two days. On Thursday, May 26, the cortege that will start at 15.45 at Konak Square and the opening events at L'agora Han at 16.15 will be attended by the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Tunç Soyer will also attend.

Moments full of music

Concerts, talks, competitions, activities for children, dance performances, workshops, free photo shoots with the greenbox photography studio and many more events will fill all Kemeraltı streets, especially Konak Square, Balıkçılar Square, Küçük Karaosmanoğlu Han and Portugal Synagogue. Evrim Ateşler, Sedat Yüce, Aydok Moralıoğlu, Funda Öncü, Sinan Efe Aksoy, Dj Müslüm Ergün and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Culture Orchestra will provide the audience with musical moments in different areas.

From wheel of fortune to antique auction

Those who spend 100 TL or more in Kemeraltı during the festival will be able to participate in the Wheel of Fortune competitions, where surprise gifts will be distributed by showing their shopping receipts. Workshops with bazaar artisans

Within the scope of the festival, felt, tile, pottery, calligraphy, sculpture, naht and gilding workshops to be held with the artisans of Kemeraltı will be reminded of handicrafts that have sunk into oblivion and will be brought together with those concerned.
