Answering the question about the cable car at the press conference, President Zeybek said that the cable car will be put into service until the 2023 elections.
Speaking about the cable car tender, Mayor Mehmet Zeybek stated that the municipality will both rent the ropeway and earn 3,5 percent from the turnover. Zeybek said, “The cable car tender was held. Last Monday, we formalized our contract. A company with 3 partners won the tender. They have cable car operations in 2 or 3 regions in Turkey. There are also paragliding businesses. So it's an experienced company. We will both receive rent and generate income for our municipality of 3.5 percent from the turnover at the starting point. We will carry out site deliveries at the end of the month. Swiss partners will arrive at the end of the month. After the place is delivered, the friends will start production. In any case, we think that it will be opened to business before the general elections," he said.
