The actress, who is of Crimean Turkic origin from Erzurum, Trabzon and Rize on her mother's side, is of Bulgarian immigrant origin on her father's side. Born in Istanbul in 1990, Tuvana Türkay first graduated from Istanbul Güneş College and then continued her education at Beykent University, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.
