Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has connected the two regions to each other with aesthetic pedestrian bridges built over Ayvalidere, which separates Yüzüncü Yıl and 29 October neighborhoods in Nilüfer district.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented important projects in terms of rail systems and road transportation in order to eliminate the transportation problem in Bursa, continues its investments for the citizens to reach comfortable transportation on foot. Within the scope of the works, two pedestrian bridges with aesthetic appearance were built over Ayvalidere, which separates the two neighborhoods, upon the intense demand from the headmen of the Yüzüncü Yıl and 29 Ekim neighborhoods and the residents of the neighborhoods in Nilüfer district. The locations of the bridges were determined with the approval of both neighborhood headmen. Bridges with a length of 30 meters and a width of 3,5 meters added aesthetic value to the region as well as the convenience they provide.
Odor problem will also be solved
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, together with the Mayor of Yüzüncü Yıl Neighborhood Ayşenur Sayan, the Head of 29 Ekim Neighborhood İsmail Keskin and AK Party Nilüfer District President Eşref Kurem, examined the bridges that add a different color to the silhouette of the region. Reminding that there are intense demands from both the neighborhood headmen and the people of the region regarding the construction of the bridges, Mayor Aktaş said, “Ayvalidere will have a comfortable and aesthetic appearance with 'an original design and silhouette, steel construction, aluminum cast aluminum railings on the overpass, wooden flooring and decorative lighting elements'. we earned. Ayvalidere is the junction of many streams and waste. Especially in the summer months, there are problems with the smell 'caused by the lack of flow'. Our teammates will quickly carry out feasibility studies. Hopefully, we will implement our efforts to eliminate the problems. I would especially like to ask our citizens who use the region. There are beautiful walking paths here, there are different sports fields. The more we protect the area, the more we don't throw garbage, the more we protect the environment, the more useful it will be, the more people will benefit from it. Expressing that the residents of the neighborhood are mostly happy because of the construction of the bridges, the headman of Yüzüncü Yıl Mahallesi, Ayşenur Sayan, said, “The bridges were a necessity. Since 2005, we have always fought this battle together with our previous mukhtar. These bridges and overpasses were my destiny. This made me and our residents very happy. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Municipality and everyone who contributed," he said.
