The Future of the Railway is Focused in Jordan under the Leadership of TCDD

Metin Akbaş, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), went to Jordan for the International Union of Railways (UIC) Middle East Regional Board (RAME) Meeting. Metin Akbaş, who will chair the meeting where the steps to be taken for the development of railways in the world and regional cooperation studies will be discussed, will also share the knowledge of TCDD with the member countries.

With the vision of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, TCDD represents the railways in the international arena by sharing its knowledge and experience in order to achieve positive results for our country. TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş, who carries out coordinated work with the countries in the region, is holding talks in Amman, the capital of Jordan. At the 29th meeting of RAME, chaired by Metin Akbaş, the steps to be taken for the future of railways in the world will be examined. Akbaş will come together with the representatives of the railway organizations of the RAME member countries in the region to review the developments in the railway sector in the region, the budget of the Regional Board, the activities carried out and planned to be carried out and the current opportunities of the members. At the meeting, forward-looking activities will be shared based on TCDD's 166 years of knowledge, experience, capabilities and situations. Many topics such as the "RAME Railway Vision 2050" studies, which will serve as a guide, will be discussed.

At the meetings, current developments and steps to be taken regarding bilateral relations with the members of the countries in the region will be evaluated.
