Gluten-free soup poured out of the soup fountains on the university campuses of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality due to 'May 9 World Celiac Awareness Day'. University students, who receive a free meal from soup fountains every day, have felt the distress of celiac patients with gluten-free soup and gluten-free bread, to some extent.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out privileged activities for all disadvantaged groups of the society, especially the disabled, organized a new event to raise awareness for celiac patients, to whom it provides gluten-free food support during Ramadan. Due to May 2 World Celiac Awareness Day, gluten-free soup was served at the soup fountains on the Uludağ University and Bursa Technical University campuses, where nearly 9 students have the opportunity to have one meal free of charge. University students, who spent their meals with gluten-free soup and gluten-free bread, saw the distress experienced by celiac patients.
