Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu made a written statement about the Çamlıca Tower. Pointing out that the Camlica Tower, which is the center of attraction for foreign tourists as well as Istanbulites, has become a center of attraction, Karaismailoğlu said, “The length of the Camlica Tower is 369 meters and its height above sea level is 587 meters. With this feature, it is the highest tower in Europe.”
Karaismailoğlu stated that everyone from 7 to 70 visited the Çamlıca Tower and announced that a total of 563 thousand people were hosted in a year. Karaismailoğlu emphasized that 19 thousand 176 people visited the Camlica Tower, which has become one of the favorite touristic places of Istanbul, during the Ramadan Feast, and the daily visitor record was broken with 4 thousand 7 people on May 821.
