According to the information received from the Kandilli Observatory, two earthquakes occurred in Düzce, one after the other. Earthquakes were also felt in Bolu, Zonguldak and Sakarya.

The first earthquake occurred at around 22.53 in Kuşoğlu village of Çilimli. An earthquake of 12.9 magnitude occurred at a depth of 1.4 kilometers.

The second earthquake occurred at 00.51:8.5. The second earthquake, centered in the village of Yayakbaşı, was measured as 2.9 at a depth of 17 kilometers. The earthquake, which lasted XNUMX seconds, was also felt in Sakarya, Bolu and Zonguldak.
